My life will never be the same ...

Lincoln Keith Casey was born in February weighing 8 pounds 13.5 ounces. He is beautiful and I am amazed every moment at how much I love him and how happy I am that he is in my life. I can't remember life without him. All I can do is Praise the Lord for this wonderful blessing!
So how did it all go down? I went to the doctor on Monday. My blood pressure was a bit high for her liking so we did a test for urine protein and as an extra precaution she scheduled an ultrasound for later in the week. Everything was fine. On Thursday he was guesstimated to weigh 9 pounds 6-7 ounces. His stomach measured on the larger side which meant there was a good chance he'd have broad shoulders and could be difficult to deliver. So we scheduled a c section for the next morning so he wouldn't go through any trauma. Sure enough, when the doctor got him out she had to corkscrew him free - he didn't want to come out! The doctor confirmed that we made the best decision by going with a c section as he was stuck.

And with no further ado, here's what you really came for - pics!
The night before - our last outing as a family of two! From left to right: Outback couple shot, my belly told me it was time, Josh's thoughts on his last night before being a daddy, then individual pics.
Side view the morning of delivery.
Josh was sweet and painted my toes for me. I was supposed to have a spa day but my plans were happily changed :)
Before we left for the hospital, Grandpa Keith did a quick photo shoot for me. Notice the cute little boots from my friend Sarah and the cute little shirt from Grandpa!
Ready to go to the hospital!
Preparing for delivery.
And he is here! Lincoln Keith Casey was all warm and snugly.
Look at those cheekie weekies!
One happy daddy!
Such a sweet face - I can't get enough.

Looks like Babies R Us threw up ...
Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I love being a mom and can't believe how much I love him! Please excuse any errors in this blog. It's not as easy as it used to be!

What have I been eating these days? Well, Mom has been taking good care of me! I haven't gone hungry once and Amber and Carrie have spoiled me with breakfast and even a Cook Out Peanut Butter Fudge milkshake. I am so thankful for all the love and support everyone is showing us!
