So how did it all go down? I went to the doctor on Monday. My blood pressure was a bit high for her liking so we did a test for urine protein and as an extra precaution she scheduled an ultrasound for later in the week. Everything was fine. On Thursday he was guesstimated to weigh 9 pounds 6-7 ounces. His stomach measured on the larger side which meant there was a good chance he'd have broad shoulders and could be difficult to deliver. So we scheduled a c section for the next morning so he wouldn't go through any trauma. Sure enough, when the doctor got him out she had to corkscrew him free - he didn't want to come out! The doctor confirmed that we made the best decision by going with a c section as he was stuck.
And with no further ado, here's what you really came for - pics!

Josh was sweet and painted my toes for me. I was supposed to have a spa day but my plans were happily changed :) |
Before we left for the hospital, Grandpa Keith did a quick photo shoot for me. Notice the cute little boots from my friend Sarah and the cute little shirt from Grandpa! |

Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I love being a mom and can't believe how much I love him! Please excuse any errors in this blog. It's not as easy as it used to be!
What have I been eating these days? Well, Mom has been taking good care of me! I haven't gone hungry once and Amber and Carrie have spoiled me with breakfast and even a Cook Out Peanut Butter Fudge milkshake. I am so thankful for all the love and support everyone is showing us!
Hi Emily! Congratulations on healthy and beautiful baby Lincoln, he is precious, God bless him! I love your purple toes too! LOL BTW, by the time you're ready for work, I'll be there to meet for lunch! ;) ;) Take care and rest well!
