Josh and I recently did a little landscaping - meaning, I bought plants and Josh put them in the ground. I don't really understand how people enjoy gardening ... digging in the dirt ... I hate bugs, worms, and getting dirty. Anywho, we do not own a truck so Trudy the Tribute (Gertrude, Trudy for short) had to fill in:
We were packed in! |
1 Tree, 2 Ferns, 2 bags of mulch, 4 Lilies, and 1 Clematis |
The tree was taller than Josh in the pot and barely fit in the car. |
Doesn't look like so much when you get it all out ... |
The tree was the hardest part because it was so tall. We were able to fit it in and close the door without breaking any limbs! |
After: everything has found it's home :) |
Even added a nice birdbath to the mix the next day. |
It's taken some time, but the landscape of the yard is looking much better - especially considering when we moved in almost 2 years ago it was a sandy, dirt patch with nothing but weeds and sod meshing where previous owners did not care for the lawn. It's coming together though!
What have I been "running" for lately ... I had the most delish flavor at Sweet Frog recently. It was labeled Cotton Candy and though I usually stick to chocolates, caramels, and peanut butters, I couldn't resist that beautiful blue glow. To my surprise, it taste just like cake icing! I don't know if it was mislabeled or just that good. I could have had a whole bowl of it with no toppings. I've gone back a few times since and the flavor has not been back. If you get a chance to try it, I recommend you do.
